Cinnamon Rolls & Sickness......the perfect sunday morning combo

Alie was feeling really sick this morning, so we stayed home from church. We did get to have breakfast together though and that never happens anymore. I made Mini Cinnamon Rolls from a really wonderful cookbook I got for Christmas. The kids scarfed them up & they were Super simple so I thought I would share this recipe.

Southern Living Christmas Cookbook

Tiny Cinnamon Rolls

1 (8 oz) pack refrigerated crescent rolls
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
2/3 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp Milk
2 drops of Vanilla

unroll cresent rol dough and separate into 4 rectangles pinch perforations within rectangles to seal. Stir together brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over rectangles.

Roll up jelly roll style (long side) pinch sides together and cut into 5 pieces. Place cut ends up in 8 or 9 inch round pan. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.

Combine powdered sugar, milk and vanila.

Pour over warm cinnamon rolls.

Yields 20

now these are pretty small so for our family of 5 I made two pans but if you were feeding toddlers and grown -ups one can would be plenty.
