Every thing looks so good from the outside.....

Most days most people including us wouldn't even know that Wesley has Aspergers Syndrome . Most Days. That day has not been any of the last few days. I have become even more painfully aware of the differences between my son and other children his age. Example: the 5 days my son sat alone (with me) in snack time during VBS, How he never participated in recreation during VBS and he loves water games, How if he had his way he would never leave the house, How he feels alone even in a crowded room, How he looks terrified in the same crowded room, How he runs and hides from me when he gets over stimulated or upset and it scares me to death.
I feel so helpless some days and all I want to do is make life easier for him and I don't know how.
Don't get me wrong I knew....that's why i taught his class. I knew it would be the only way he would go and I was right. I am just so sad and overwhelmed right now. I don't know what the next move should be.

I just needed to say that out loud so there.........

I wanted to share these scriptures with you. I often run to this scripture every time I feel scared, alone, and just uncertain about times:
Various verses from Psalm 34

4 I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me.
He freed me from all my fears.
5 Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy;
no shadow of shame will darken their faces.
6 In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened;
he saved me from all my troubles.
7 For the angel of the Lord is a guard;
he surrounds and defends all who fear him.

Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!
9 Fear the Lord, you his godly people,
for those who fear him will have all they need.
10 Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry,
but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.

15 The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right;
his ears are open to their cries for help.

17 The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help.
He rescues them from all their troubles.
18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted;
he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

19 The righteous person faces many troubles,
but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.
20 For the Lord protects the bones of the righteous;
not one of them is broken!
