I was pointing out to Glen the other night how little kids are so used to being picked up and put places. I mean, what would it feel like to us if a really big person was just picking *us* up all the time, carrying us around, and putting us places! But little kids are so used to it.
Then I asked him if he could remember the very last time he ever picked up Anna. The growing happens fast, but is also happens so gradually! We used to pick her up all the time, then it was just less and less until at some point, it was the very last time, and we didn't even realize it, didn't even know it, yet it was such a milestone. He got all teary eyed too :o)
Hopefully we'll have lots of gradchildren!
Oh, and by the way, the profile pic of you is great! I wish I had a good picture of me *sigh*
