So mostly I am posting this because I do NOT want to repeat it 800x's in the next 2 weeks.
Our children will be going back to school. Not special you say, most kids are. I mean public school. We are very sad but peaceful about this choice. It is just very different from the plan. The plan was to home school. We have all the books, all the paper work was filled out, lesson plans in place and very excited kiddos.
As a lot of you know Steven was laid off the whole month of June and that caused July and now August to be a little (lot) tough. It got us looking at things and realizing that maybe (even if only for a little bit) I should get a job. Steven was opposed at first and willing to take on a 2nd job himself. Well that just really bothered me because it means him giving up what he cherishes most and that is Family Time.
It is an obvious choice for me to work at the school. Steven gets off at 2pm and we have time to be together as a family. That is one thing we weren't willing to give up on.
I would appreciate your first reaction not to be "well that's good" or "thank goodness" or "they need that."
I feel like I have failed my children or betrayed them somehow. It has been weeks of prayer and conversation to bring us to this place. I am fortunate that they are going to a really great school with really amazing teachers. I am at peace with that part. It is just been very hard to let go (or put away for a while) this dream.
now you know.

Oh girl I'm sorry! God has such a great plan for you and for your children. A scripture verse that I always hang onto during hard times, and especially now that I'm pregnant, is I Peter 5:7.
You are a very special and wonderful mother.
Your in my prayers girl.
Maggie
I'll be praying that you get to resume the plan as soon as possible, So sorry you had to make this choice. Just stinks.
I'm praying for you sweetie! May you be comforted, encouraged, and even hopeful! God will work everything out for good, He is so faithful.
Love you.
I'm so sorry. It's definitely hard when our plans are rerouted. I'll be praying for all the lives that you and the kids touch while in school. God has you all there for a purpose and I'm excited to see Him work in your lives... and if it's His will you will be back to homeschooling in no time!!! Please keep us posted!
I heard you saw Coocal :o)
Thanks for being willing to come out, you are a true friend!
I started on antibiotics a couple of days ago, and then on prednisone yesterday. Prednisone usually has me feeling better within hours, so I'm good.
Talk to you soon!
Girl. I'm sorry.
