God was all over this one today. Stevens only day off is today! We were invited like 3 different places and declined all b/c Alie is feeling bad. We could have very well walked into a house filled with 50 gallons of water. My dad had not left for work yet and was able to come help Steven replace the part. WOW. I love it when you can just see a GOD thing just roll out like a red carpet.
One of my dearest friends came over with a shop vac and some lunch for Steven!
Thanks Amber!
Then while her oldest played here she and Steven drove out and got THE BEANS!!!!
the beans came in trash bags with the plants picked right up out of the ground. So we stood on the deck and picked all the beans. Canning to come........

I love beans, but with me being the only beat eating individual, I stopped making them. But it is a HUGE treat to have at my moms! I hope your daughter is feeling better. I will be praying for her surgery and for ya'll!
Oh my word. Sounds like a fun day. Shoot, wish I had been there.
Okay, so I'm realizing that maybe the surgery already happened since you wrote it before, and posted it later...is that right?
Either way, I will be praying that you and Alie (and everyone!) have a fabulous TUESDAY!
Your laundry room/bean adventure sounds, um, adventurous :o)
It is very cool to see how God takes care of us in the little things. We were at a friend's house on the fourth and Glen decided to pack up all our gear early for some reason. There was a lot. Swim stuff, food, floats, stroller, baby seat, lawn chairs, etc. Wouldn't you know, the minute, the very minute the fireworks ended it started pouring! Can you imagine trying to get all our kids and all that stuff out to the car at 9:30pm in the pouring down rain??? Yuck. But all we had to do was load kids, thankfully! We told the kids wasn't it cool how God held off the rain until the fireworks ended and gave Daddy the foresight to load up early. And then, to top it all off, as soon as we drove into our driveway, the rain stopped long enough to get sleepy kids and stuff into the house.
I love it when God shows how much He loves us in the little things :o)
Anna & Katie have been making big plans (or maybe just Anna?!) for next week, is that okay with you?
Email me so we can figure it out :o)
I'm looking forward to getting to see you too next week!
