Props to Portriat Innovations and More

So we have needed a new family picture for a LONG time. I have lots of amazing pictures of the 3 of them. I have really good ones of Steven and them and even a couple of myself with them.
I know some VERY VERY Talented photographers but that isn't really easy for us.

Wesley doesn't always(usually ever) do well with pictures. So when he is in a good mood and all 5 of us are home it is always on my mind. Well now that portrait innovations is open in Hendersonville I was able to act on that.

Wednesday afternoon we got our picture made and it is GREAT! The girls in the store worked very well with Wes. He sat on a stool and spun and spun until it was time for him to be back in the picture.

I came out of there spending only $10.77! That was a personal challenge to myself. There were plenty of pictures for us in that pack.

I would also like to send a shout out to Texas Road House. (Now don't get the wrong idea that we never go out to eat but Steven and I sort of Savor those moments for our self). Mon-Wed at Texas Road House kids meals are $1.99! maybe not such a big deal except that INCLUDES a drink. Everyone knows that drinks are where you get ripped off. Wes was able to happily munch rolls while we waited for our server. He was great and the food was great! We ended up eating for 41.65! WOW that is cheap for us!

We headed back to pick up our pictures and went into ColdStone. I had a coupon from my CitiPass book for a free regular. The kids really loved getting to pick out there mix-ins. I spent 14.29.

The kids wanted to walk around to the fountain even though the couldn't get in. The fountain is so pretty and a nice addition to the center of the Streets. It really smells like OLD HICKORY LAKE, and that is what i did not want to smell all the way home.

So for $66.71 we had a really fun afternoon out. I was very proud of myself. I am typically a splurger and a swiper. I paid with all cash (yeah) and showed some self control and we still had a great night!

**** I checked all 3 places websites before we left the house. I was able to tell the kids what there dinner options would be and make sure my picky hubby would find ice cream he liked etc....... That is one of the best things I have started doing that before we head out most anywhere.
