The kids were all in bed last night and I was making the rounds doing kisses, hugs, water, doll retrieval and so on......... So then I go across the hall to Wes. I usually lay down by him for a second so as I do this he says "mom, i am not feeling well tonight" " What hurts buddy" i say?
"My feelings.................................(long pause).................................and my throat"
Ok i had to walk out of his bedroom and run to our room to giggle b/c if I had done that in front of him (well, we wont go there).
Steven and I had decided to put them in bed at 8:30 and give them a nap today all for the goal of them wanting to stay up till midnight (11central). however we were reminded very loudly that it was "Christmas break! "
I guess that is how his feelings got hurt!
