Katie Rae

I am smiling from ear to ear right now! Our daughter Katie-Rae (our oldest, 9) was saved and baptized yesterday! It was amamzing. She has been talking to us about it a lot and then two weeks ago we were at a friends house and she and her friend talked about it for a long time and she made a decision. Aaron, Steven's little brother was the one who baptized her. He is minister in training at our church. It was really special since I have watched Aaron grow up as well.

I just had to share the good news!

What wonderful news!!! Oh and I was going to tell you that we're not in middle Tennessee anymore. We moved back to Texas about 8 months ago. But thanks for the info anyway! I'm sure there are some groups around here...I guess I need to research that.

Congratulations to Katie! I am sorry we could not all be there, but I am so glad it worked out for Anna to be able to come. Have I told you I am really thankful for the friendship that Lord has blessed us (and our children!) with? Well, I am. You are a wonderful mom and a tremendous example and encouragement to me!

It's hard to know what God is doing in the lives of students. Praise Him! Angels rejoice and so do I! Rachel, thanks for being a mother with "shine"! Katie, I'm so proud of you! Follow Jesus everyday, and life will be exciting! You guys do more than you know.
