So, it has been a whirl wind of a two Weeks! School is going amazingly well. Wes, actually got in the car this afternoon and said "I love School!l" I told Steven, and we both were in shock.
Next, my BABY started KINDERGARTEN! She got in the car the first day and said, "I had a great day; but i bet you cried all day." Well, it is possible that she is right! I went to the grocery time for the first time alone (during the day), yes, Steven has kept them at night before while I went.
She has gone 2 days this week and is loving it! Her teacher is truly a generous & beautiful (inside and out) person who we are blessed to have as a teacher. Actually we feel that way about all 3 teachers we have this year.
My brother is home on leave. He surprised my parents on Saturday morning so my sister and I then inherited care of my grandmother for the week. Becca, took her to her house on Saturday night and Sunday night. Chad, (her hubby) is out of town for his two weeks with the ANG for the summer. Then on Monday I picked her up and Here she is! The doctor says no way, no how can she live on her own again. She forgets to take her Lasix (water pill) and then the fluid builds up in her chest and she goes into congestive heart failure. It is a bad pattern we have gotten into with her. SO, here she be! It has been kind of nice having a grown-up here at night to talk to. And she loves my kids SO much. It is just different having another person to care for. Her needs are so different than those of the kiddos. I would want somebody to want to help me in the same way.
I also must note that i have an extraordinary respecfor working mothers. I do believe that if you have the oppurtunity and can make it work at all that Mothers should be in the home. However, my sister is a working mother and I NEVER fully understood how exhausted she is until this week. Working at the daycare, the consignment sale, pto fundraiser I am in charge of and kids(and grammie) WOW! I have NEVER been so tierd. Hats off to you guys.
