Children are so extraordinary.

My children constantly amaze me....

Yesterday morning we went to see my grandparents early so we could work in the garden:) We left there ant headed toward grandparent number two and three's homes. I got to the red light where i had to turn right to go to my grandmothers or left to stevens. Something said to me (i should say someone, thank you Jesus) to go left. Not very practical i think bc lunch is free ant my grandmothers b/c she is making it. However I feel the need to go to Nannys first. We get there and walk into her room (she is in a nursing home) and she is sick, not herself and very lathargic. About the time I am calling my mother in law to report my findings my children are barrelled down by paramedics. My children were completely calm the entire time. We changed all our daily plans and went to the ER to be there until someone could come besides me and the circus! They sat in the ER waiting room perfect the whole time. Katie being older and wiser when it comes to observation knows something is wrong.

Nanny has a tumor pressing on her windpipe and it is growing very rapidly. She is back in her room now surrounded by family and awaiting her time to slip peacefully to the other side. My babies just go in and talk to her and rub her head and hands and kiss on her. They know with out being told that it is coming.

I wonder if it is b/c children are still so pure and close to Jesus that they know when he is near. I know that sounds kinda crazy but i do wonder.
